What an AI reel generator actually does
A modern AI reel generator wraps six previously-separate jobs into one pipeline:
- Script generation. A large language model writes a hook, body, and reveal in your chosen language and tone.
- Voiceover. A neural text-to-speech model reads the script scene-by-scene in a studio-grade voice.
- Image or footage selection. Per-scene backgrounds — AI-generated art or stock footage — matched to the script beats.
- Render. Everything stitched into a 9:16 MP4 with animated text overlays, subtitle highlighting, and background music.
- Captions + hashtags. Platform-specific caption + hashtag pass for each destination (Reels, Shorts, Telegram).
- Publishing. Auto-post to YouTube Shorts and Telegram; download MP4 for platforms where API access is pending.
The whole loop typically runs in 2–3 minutes end-to-end. Compare that to a manual workflow — writing, recording, editing, exporting, and uploading — which routinely takes 45–90 minutes per finished reel for a solo creator.
